FifyWorst performance I think I’ve ever seen by a Tech OL

Gibson supposedly put up good numbers at another D1 program. He was a deer in the headlights most of the 2nd half. Wanted to sit in a pocket our OL couldn’t give him. End of game, after D worked to get us the last possession he just lets the cluck run down then scrambles out of bounds rather than throw an up for grabs. Put the 3rd string in if Sims isn’t healthy next week.
Yeah, I don't know about that. He had some pretty bad falls under pressure. The OL didn't help, but he rushed passes, stumbled a lot, and really didn't look prepared for the game. Makes me wonder how bad the other two guys really are.Gibson did not have a good game, but our OL and playcalling allowed UVA to completely attack the QB. Anyone back there would have had trouble.

This loss is on whomever’s job it is/was to recruit.
Wildcat. Wildcat would have won us that game. Our defense is good enough to win if we’re not getting sacked or fumbling every other play.
We've got 10 days to practice wildcat. I just wish we had a better player on our roster to run it.
WTF was that running out of bounds on final play. And not spiking to get another play.
You really think he is better than Corey Booker? WHY?
I've got a HUGE hangover from watching this game and I didn't drink a drop. "Letdown" is mild compared to acid reflux!
Came south to experience big boy football that really hasn’t been big boy.No it is not. He is in his fourth year of college football and his 10th month with this team. He left Akron because he couldn’t hold down the job. That has been made clear as to why
Put Nate back there. He’s an athlete and would probably be good at running something like that. Gotta get the ball in the hands of your playmaker(s). Unfortunately many of ours play on the defensive side of the ball. We've got 10 days to practice wildcat. I just wish we had a better player on our roster to run it.
How do you figure? We couldn't run the ball for ööööWildcat. Wildcat would have won us that game. Our defense is good enough to win if we’re not getting sacked or fumbling every other play.
Sims QBR was 8 & Gibson's was 7. Think you might be looking at completion percentage or something. The Akron transfer is the second worst QB to wear a GT jersey that I've ever seen behind only Corey Booker. GT may not win another game until Sims can go again. Final stat line was 10 of 25 for 99 yards. 4 yds/completion. A sobering 51.9 QBR. Before the final two drives that QBR was in the 30's. A shame that Brent Key's candidacy will run aground on a twice rolled ankle. Well it was fun having hope for a week or two. Looking forward to new hires in the revenue sports to finish, finally, mercifully, the Bobinski cleanup within the GTAA.
