What Happened to THE BEST TRIPLE OPTION QB EVER? (Justin Thomas)

Here's an interesting article with him from 2020. According to his Twitter he runs Nesbitt Sports Academy, and his LinkedIn says he is currently (depending on whether that's updated or not) a Sales Rep for Georgia Lottery and does volunteer coaching in Greensboro.

Maybe his kid Joshua Nesbitt Jr. can rescue this program. He might only be a few years old but I'd still sign him.

I wonder what a sales rep for the Georgia Lottery would do? Go around to convenience stores and get them to sign up to sell lottery tickets? Try to get billboard companies to give a better rate on billboards? Just wondering.

My guess, selling more lottery products to those places that run out, validating winning lottery tickets and whether or not chop blocking was involved.

All time?!? GTFO! Jamelle Holloway. J.C. Watts. James Street. Steve Davis. Jack Mildren. Terry Davis. Arguably Nebraska mostly ran a double option, rather than a triple, but depending on how much that matters one would have to include Tommie Frazier and Turner Gill. If I have to choose, Jamelle Holloway gets a slight nod over J.C. Watts.

Joe Hamilton--best ever. 1999 at FSU--Coach Fridge busted out the winged T.
Best Mid-Line Option play -- Goose Godsey 2000 at UGa (yes Nesbitt had a couple awesome midline option plays as well).

Justin Thomas' inability to run the midline option really impacted his effectiveness in CPJ's offense. He was great at everything else.
