What year will we make the CFP?

Keep in mind the playoff format is only set for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. After that, there is no plan in place, nothing signed or agreed to. Could be 12 teams, could be more, could be less (probably not), could have automatic qualifiers, could not, could be the B1G and SEC off doing their own thing completely.

I'd guess the last one. Strategically moving in USC, UCLA, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Oklahoma. When they drop the hammer, nobody will care.

Hell, they need no other teams to do this. Don't need FSU, Miami, UNC, Clemson....they will be left to wilt.
