Whats the chance HK returns for another year?

I'd prefer to have him return, but worry that if he does, Philo could transfer. Sometimes a guy returning is a mixed blessing.
Why else would you redshirt Philo? I guess it made more sense to play King the whole time because he’s him. But the way it was phrased was Philo is redshirting. Not King is playing.

Man King is so special.

Based off of feelings?

Oregon has bought a QB each of the past two seasons. King is a perfect fit for their offense, so you know they are gonna come calling with bags of Nike cash.

I have felt (warning: feelings, no facts to support) that he would be a perfect fit for Oregon. But I have convinced myself that he will stay and Tech will compensate. I like this line of thinking as it allows me to spend all extra brainpower being angry about Friday.

Because no one knew King was actually healthy. Philo had his helmet on and I bet we would have seen him if King went down.

Really hope King stays. I like the brand of football we are forging with him at the helm. Just hard nosed, gritty, power football. I like the direction our defense is headed too. We need that aspect to round out that image.

Regardless of whether he comes back or who is at QB, if we don't get rid of that damn prevent defense, it's all for naught. Terrific leads were wasted against Duke, NCSU, and Georgia, and it finally resulted in a loss to the damn mutts. Stay out of that prevent D Friday night, and they don't score those two late TDs, and we win in regulation.

King has alot of reasons to remain for his senior year if all things stay the same.

- I am pretty sure he already has a strong NIL deal in place with team.
- The OC and offense familarity all stay same definitely need to bump up Faulkner and DC pay a to keep them in place.
- Alot of good Oline and Offense weapons still hanging around for him
-The Key relationship
-That all leads to a scenario were he can have a legit chance to boost his NFL stock and chances for individual awards. If he can average 300 total yard #s on a per game average and 2-3 at TD average per game hes legit puts himself if Heisman talks

Pyron is 100% transferring. Philo might, but I think he stays. King is back as starter next year.
I'm, not 100% sure Pyron is transferring. He said once that he came here for the degree as well as to play football. If he graduates (which I think he could do), then he's gone. Otherwise, where else would he go? He flubbed his number one chance for greatness against ND, and, although I don't think it was all on him, that's the Pyron that other schools saw.

I don’t think that King leaves for ‘a little’ more money. It would have to be an offer that he simply could not refuse.

He seems like he loves Tech. Hopefully they can figure out how to get him enough cash to make easy for hin
I also think Haynes has too much respect for Key and Weinke for giving him the chance no one else would give him.

mind rite

I believe it’s going to be difficult to keep him. There will be several top tier programs with a high chance of being a playoff contender that will come calling. They will sale NFL preparation that includes more downfield passing and less designed QB runs.

All those talking about Heisman and playoffs, let’s make sure it happens
I’m already on a monthly but just added this today when thinking about next year. Let’s make sure we keep our guys

Pyron is transferring. I believe he did indeed graduate, but I’m not positive. He was already carrying a significant injury in that game and got even more banged up carrying the ball. I still think he could be a good player on a team that was committed to him as “the guy”.
