Whats the chance HK returns for another year?

King will be back and Philo is a smart guy. This OL and the guys coming in are definitely a group he should want to play behind. No worries.

Pyron is transferring. I believe he did indeed graduate, but I’m not positive. He was already carrying a significant injury in that game and got even more banged up carrying the ball. I still think he could be a good player on a team that was committed to him as “the guy”.
I think Pyron could have been a significant player for Tech too ---- until King showed up. I was pulling for Pyron to get the job as starter, but it became quickly obvious that, as special as I and many others thought Pyron was, King was even more special Too many people have completely slammed him for his performance in the ND game. I am not one of them, because it was obvious that something was wrong. I wasn't aware that he already had an injury going into that game, which is what you at least implied, but I did know that he got banged up during the game. I have nothing but admiration for the kid, both as an athlete and a human being. Even if he never again lives up to the promise many of us saw in him as a QB, I am sure he will have great success in life, and I wish and pray for him the best. Now we have yet another very special kid in Philo, and I sure hope he is willing to wait another year so that he will replace King when he leaves. Boy, it's nice again to have a plethora of good QBs at Tech. I am reminded of Bill Lotheridge replacing Stan "the man" Gann, and how graciously Gann and his family behaved when he got replaced. The late AJC columnist Jesse Outlar wrote a column about it entitled something like "The Day Stan Gann Became a Man".

Pyron is a badass. I, too, thought we were set at QB with Pyron when he had his breakout game against VT. Knew nothing of King but assumed he must be really really good if he beat Pyron out.

Oregon has bought a QB each of the past two seasons. King is a perfect fit for their offense, so you know they are gonna come calling with bags of Nike cash.
Notre Dame has been buying QBs from the ACC the past few seasons. Do they need a new one next season?
