White-out shirts canceled

FWIW, White-out tee shirts (with the game date, GT v cu, etc printed on them) were available at the B&N on Spring Street last Saturday after the game for $9.99. They may still have some.

The white-out was well publicised, on the tickets, on the GT related web sites, in DR's "Good Word" messages, etc. GT fans, being GT fans will wear what they want to wear to games they decide to attend to which they will arrive when they decide to arrive and from which they will leave when they decide to leave. If they are at a game, they will cheer when they want to, stand when they want to, and sit when they want to. A million millon posts on internet sites will not change those facts one bit, ever. If you don't like the way GT fans are, and always will be, find another school, like, say psu, with fans who dress and act in a way that pleases you, and be happy.

None of the other 7 people that I'm bringing to the game knew until today. Four of them go to multiple games a year.

I will be there, and I will be participating.

But there is NO denying that this was HORRIBLY organized.

The next most logical question: why didn't they know, if you are taking them? You should've been telling them weeks ago!

Ditto.

I am bringing a friend who wants to start becoming a GT fan, but knows very little about GT. I told him Saturday that he had to wear white or I wasn't giving him the ticket.

This thread is like :dead_horse:

No one needs a white shirt with special print on it. Just wear a damn white shirt. I think most folks are well aware it's a white-out game.

Ummmmmm, apparently they gave out shirts on Peters if you swiped your buzzcard and should have more at the stadium.

From someone else:
"For students they were giving them out on peters, had to swipe a buzz card to get it though. Not like last year when we sent 5 guys to walk to a table and just take 30 shirts. Id assume they give out extras at the gate"

Why in heck are we not wearing white to every game anyway?

A lot of long time supporters have raised the devil about the team not, in the past, wearing white shirts.

People are always complaining about how hard it is to match the gold.

We always seem to try and outwit ourselves.

Just wear white all the time, either shirts or sweatshirt when it turns cold.

I think we have a winner. A common sense solution.
