Who has seen the Univ. of Maryland billboard downtown?

Of coarse they make good points. Your attack on Braine relative to Ralph taking the MD job was completely and totally basis. Ralph was the highest paid assistant coach in the country (300k+ package) and it was made clear to him by Braine and several influential alumni that should George leave Ralph would be the head coach. George just left one year to late.

Ghost, is there anything in your life you aren't worried about? We're supposed to promise a job that isn't open to a guy to get him to hang around? Now there's something that'll work. And you do remember what a freak set of circumstances had to unfold for George to get the ND job once it opened up don't you? Just why would Ralph have ever expected him to land that deal?

As far as Danny Hall, are you sure you aren't one of the ones howling for his head just a couple of years ago? Remember when he "squandered" the most talented team in Tech history? And how he has so many top ranked teams but no NC? Maybe that wasn't you, but it's just more evidence that the worst thing an AD or coach can do is listen to the fans. As a group we're idiots.

BTW I think the dig the terps are taking is aimed at the Gator Bowl for passing them over.
