Who left the team?

Then leave now. We owe them not a damn thing. Not the weight rooms, training table, practice facilities, any assistance from the AA. Don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you. Time to rid the team of the feel good bullshit.

If kids can't get pt with us I'm not so sure they are in a position to be highly desirable transfers. They should think long and hard before they walk out that door because that could be the end of the road for them. There is a glut of college athletes right now because of the extra COVID year

Dumpster fire of a team...we were .500 going into a home game against a 2-4 team and controlling our destiny in the conference. Bullshit it wasn't a competitive team.
 
First of all let me say I am not super close or have close contacts so take this for what it's worth which is not much but from the contacts I do have this is what I am hearing. Sims has probably played his last game at GT (he has a minor injury but one you can milk and supposedly on the foot) and he is waiting on graduating with his GT degree and apparently has an offer from LSU to transfer after that. As far as back up QB that Pyron is the better athlete and QB but doesn't understand reading defenses/coverages as well as Gibson yet. Gibson is expected to start but the staff know Pyron can play in 4 of the next 5 and keep his redshirt. Haven't heard anything good or bad from the Clemson QB transfer.

Yeah. If you’re opting out playing then the team should be able to opt out of your scholarship. CFB has over-corrected in favor of the player recently.

This is all over other boards too. I hope he's not, but if Sims is leaving I honestly don't blame him. He came in to a bad situation and placed under a lot of pressure. Our coaching staff didn't do him any favors and it seems like a big missed opportunity.

I'm honestly not sure he'd sniff any playing time with the way the LSU QB looked tonight as they beat the brakes off of Kiffin.

All over where? Your ass going to other boards to discuss it? LSU is not allowed to even talk to Sims unless he declares for the portal. If anyone has any knowledge they are, the NCAA should be notified
 
Portal is great for Team 2 that gets a solid player that has been coached, conditioned, and financed by Team 1.
 
Eligibility idea (and not original to me, heard someone mention it on ESPN U radio on SiriusXM)- get rid of the limited number of seasons of eligibility. Players who are high draft picks will go to the NFL. Players that want multiple degrees and programs that want them can get them. NIL allows a player to earn a living while in college, and for some that could be pretty good money. No more worrying about redshirts or limited number of years.

The NCAA will fart in your general direction. Ivey announced he was entering the portal on a Friday and started classes at Ole Miss on Monday.

We are that bad. One of the worst teams in the county offensively and on special teams. UVA was only a 7 point loss but the vast majority of the time when we lose it’s by a lot. When we win, which is rare, it’s so close we could have easily lost.
