Tech has had it's shares of ups and downs with a lot of in the middle. But it sure must be exciting to be a Clemson fan right now. They are like new money.
In some ways, yes. In other ways, it's just like every other school. On the way to work today I listened to an hour straight of callers clamoring for the backup QB.

Now im curious... How would you have worded this?
TBH I'm not sure. I understood what you meant, but knew that others wouldn't.

I think it's pretty clear that we're the #4 ACC program during CPJ's tenure, despite arbitrarily determined ranges that exclude two of his best years. Given our resources and recruiting limitations, is it reasonable to expect better than that? I don't like the trend we seem to be on right now, but I think it's pretty safe to say that CPJ has been pretty successful at GT overall.

"Switching programs" implies switching off field scandals, traditions, stadiums, academics, etc. It's a lot bigger than simple W/L record. Could have said "records" or "accomplishments" instead of "programs".

Like he said, you explained it in the post but a lot of people vote in the poll before reading the post because the poll shows up first.

I like how you give a partial list to make it look like we're worse than we are. There are 14 teams, we're in the top half at #7. If you adjust for SOS I bet we're in the top 5.
Yay. We’re #7.

Only Clemson because of the national championship. FSU comes with a lot more baggage.

??

I wouldn't trade programs for just a couple more wins but no championships.

Its the same reason I'd rather have an 11-1 ACC champ season and then a 7-5 season than have back-to-back 9-3 seasons with no title.

For this seniors class (5th year), we've averaged 7 wins, been just about 0.500 in conference, been about 0.500 against the SEC, missed a bowl, made an Orange bowl, and played in and lost a ACCCG.

This is the first team in nearly two decades to have a chance to graduate with a winning record against UGa.

I'll take the above over Chan's even keel 7 wins.
