Who's In Charge of Playing the Music and Why Do They Hate Us?

Was that also when we had the embarrassingly bad white rappers?

No. Those no talent ass clowns started with Johnson. "Perfect option" bullshit.

Yeah. It was something that was probably pretty funny inside the fraternity house. Like most things from the fraternity house, it wasn’t so cool in the outside world.
I don't remember the Mtrain dudes getting a lot of positive praise. Lecture Crashers on the other hand....

James Brown's "I Feel Good" when we're playing like shit and getting killed on the scoreboard?

The dude that runs the video/sound must be a Clempson grad.

While we’re bitching about stuff......

What the hell is up with the band and the crappy snare line? If you notice, there are two snare lines. The usual snare line that is good. Then there is the crap playing snares that have black covers on them (because they are old Yamaha drums and not the new Pearls) and they are not good.

Does anybody remember how Notre dame let its band play most of the time but in key moments used the PA system to pump up the crowd? It was a dismal day but something I noticed.

complaining about something the rest of the teams in the country does :rotfl:

The fact that we can’t keep the video board working for 6-7 days a year is embarrassing.

I hate that the 5s on the video board are upside-down 2s.

We played loud piped-in music as we walked to the line on offense yesterday.

But the choice of Linkin Park’s “Numb” did seem apt.

Why don't we just set off a small nuclear blast at midfield? That should "fire up" the place.

It was not intended that way. Is the music not hip hop, broadly speaking?

I object not to the style of music, but when it's played and drowns out organic fan-and-band enthusiasm.

This is unfortunately a trend throughout sports, where bigger and louder apparently means better. See also the big video board they are putting outside of our stadium.

I don't know how it is in Atlanta, but going to a Mets game is an assault on the senses with all the loud music and jingles blaring from the speakers.

I concur with the poster who brought up Notre Dame. They truly did it right. Of course, even they are finally putting in a video board. Can't resist the sponsor dollars forever I guess.

Crap has been going on for years. I have sent messages to athletic department for years with no response.

All the rap music is odd. Makes sense at a Falcons game, but totally misses our demographic.

No idea what our gameday experience is suposed to be

Oh boy...walking the line with the "our demographic" thing.
