Who's In Charge of Playing the Music and Why Do They Hate Us?

Our average fan is a 55 year old white guy in khakis loafers and a tucked in polo. Fairly wealthy and doesn’t listen to rap music of any kind. Probably drug his wife to the ganetoo and she doesn’t give a rats ass about migos or 2 chains.

Not really walking a line because it is what it is. Give your fans what they want which is probably listening to the band and mixing in some Bon Jovi during long breaks.

The Falcons game yesterday with 2chainz and a random performance from bone crusher mid game was cool— fans went wild, but wouldn’t work st a GT game.

If GT wants to play young jeezy, let the band do it—that’s why they are there
 
Does our average 55 year old fan have any eligibility left?
 
People complain about our recruiting, but don't want to go all in to get them. It's the whole package, filling the stadium with OUR fans, catering to the recruits (even if it is crap music), and an administration that is fully behind a successful football program knowing it will help the school in all areas.

You are 100% correct.

When it first started, it reminded me of a game we played at Wake Forest. They played obnoxiously loud music over the P/A to try and make up for lack of crowd enthusiasm. So very phoney and fake.

And they did it almost to the point of the ball being snapped. Same as we seem to do now.

Truly gutless and unsportsmanlike conduct.

It is second class at best and sad to see us do this.
 
Personal anecdote, so take this however you like.
In 2013, vs Georgia, the game was nearing the end of regulation and we held a 1 TD lead. Georgia was starting their last drive and just got a 1st down, then a timeout was called. Georgia was trying to get pumped up, and so was our defense, then "Knuck if you Buck" was blasted over the PA. While I'm sure it was inteded to hype up our Defense, Georgia was the team with the momentum at the moment. I looked over and could clearly see Georgia players jumping up and down to the beat and using it to get hyped.
I am in no way saying thats why we lost, but music is a powerful thing and maybe when the opponent is gaining momentum, dont add to it.
I haven't been to a game since 2015 since my work schedule makes it difficult so I can't really say if they have the same problem, but it's not too difficult to fix it.
Talk to the players, ask their opinions, ask what they like, what would help them in the moment.
Just my two cents.

While we're on this type of thing, why can't we get replays on the jumbotron? Did we pay that much for the CGI GT logo that we have it playing on a loop the whole time to somehow get our money's worth? Very frustrating.

If we can stream live TV to my phone, surely we can get the TV replays (at least) on the big screen. I'm sure there's some penny-ante legal issues, but that ought to be very doable.

They showed a lot of replays this week. Not every play, which was a little annoying (seems like we used to have more), but they did show some.

The worst thing to me is that we seem to start over every year with the same complaints and mistakes, then they figure some stuff out by the end of the year, and then forget it all again in the off-season. There’s no continuity.
