Georgia Tech has definitely struggled in some areas, but this team was ranked #14 and was dropped out of the Top 25 totally because they lost to Miami, who is ranked 9th?
I thought Tech and Miami would transpose poll positions with Tech at #20 or #21 and Miami at #13 or #14, but out of the poll completely? What's up with that?
Many in the media are saying the "U" is back, and maybe that is the case, but why is Georgia Tech being penalized so heavily as if they lost to an unranked, non-conference team by double-digits?
Pollsters wanted to give more weight or credibility in their win over Ga. tech to justify a higher ranking for Miami, but uses the opportunity to push Tech out completely.
