You guys are acting like that record was in conference USA.
You're acting like ours was.

Ummmm, yeah. How'd that work for you this year, Sparky? His time at UF was great for him and sucked for us, but that was great timing combined with innovative coaching. Look at what he had at UF and what we had at UGA. Now look at what UGA has NOW.
Seriously? I think you should do a double take at your W-L from this year.I have said this before and I'm saying it again. Whether he stays at SC or moves on to someplace else, I, along with MANY other UGA fans would LOVE to keep Spurrier on our schedule.
It will provide us much future enjoyment watching him slam his visor to the ground while UGA is going ahead by 15 - 20 points against his team in the 4th quarter.

Spurrier will NEVER enjoy the same level of success that he had at UF in the 90s, against UGA or anyone else for the matter. He could go back to UF and never have the same success. He'd probably do better than he's doing now at SC, but nowhere near like the 90s. The rest of the SEC (and college FB in general) is much more competitive now.
I'm looking forward to our next game against his team.
I am not quite sure I understand what point you are making.
So why should I NOT be excited about our chances against Spurrier / SC as well as the rest of the SEC in the future?
Also, I have no concerns about Spurrier and SC. They beat us by 4 points and we have a starting lineup full of freshmen and sophomores. I FULLY expect UGA to beat Spurrier and SC in Columbia next season.
