It is interesting to see the new Sun Belt trying to work their way up and into one of the future spots. I wish them well.
But see the reality inserted into your statement: No reason a SEC season should be over because a SEC QB twisted an ankle and his team lost a game or two without him. Or a team has to play 2 top 5 programs every year (cough, cough, that’s been us).
The Committee is giving smaller conferences access automatically. That is a ruse as the SEC and ND know if they expand it just right, that they will get Three or Four Teams in and One for ND. I simply am rooting for something different.
