Wisenhunt offense on display right is

I don't think we can afford Mike Leach so I'm on board. Makes way more sense to me then Clempson Asst with no HC experience.

That makes sense. I’m sure the guy who spent a year as a position coach with Vandy 20 years ago has a lot more up to date knowledge on the college game than the last Broyles Award winner with 4 back-to-back conference championships.

Elliot would be my first choice, but if we want to bring home the greatest offensive mind of all time (besides Friedgen) then I'm fine with that, too.

It might even, dare I say, give us a schematic advantage.

Why wouldn't Whisenhunt aspire to more, like the Packers' HC job, while he's such a hot NFL commodity?

i don't think he will be a HC option in the NFL after miserable failures at two teams...The titans was such a disaster...but, NFL is a retread league so u never know.

Didn't we learn from Chan Gailey that pro football and college football are different?

no. Stansbury's friendships are more important than logic...data...etc. I have a feeling he is the smartest guy in the room...we will see.

Having a good story and being co-OC on a stacked team where he inherited talent doesn’t really give me much confidence the guy is ‘the guy.’ I’m sure he can recruit, but can he run all areas of a program and be Dabo instead of Dabo’s Co-assistant? I’d interview him, but this would be the highest risk hire IMO. It might have the most upside, but he’d have to wow me and show some understanding of GT in the interview.

Mark Richt was an OC with no head coach experience when hired by uga and did just fine even though he eventually lost control of all things from Crowell to Ezekiel Elliott.

Kirby Smart was a DC with no head coach experience and so far he is doing just fine. His fake punt calls could use some work though.

Wasn’t Jimbo just an OC with no HC experience when FSU hired him?

Let's not rule out the Dewberry connection here. Maybe Dewberry is going to kick in a bunch of money and we are going to hire a big time coaching staff. Remember Cliff Kingsbury was on his was to USC and then suddenly he wasn't. Maybe he was just in LA to meet with The Wiz and Stansbury last week. A guy can dream can't he

I have seen this posted several times; but if true how did Roof get shown the door? I would think TStan was closer to Roof than Whiz. I also wonder if P.Swilling has significant input in this; there was talk he was involved with the Roof decision. Interesting times to have a cabal of Curry's players with significant influence in the GTAA.

dewberry is the puppetmaster of todd I believe.....and whiz is tied to that and donations

I don't think todd is bright enough to think on his own...ummmm. ok...ummmm. ok....ummmm. Yeah you are the hc of football just make the changes you need...ummm ok...He isn't going to go into the program and influence so I do think he gave PJ that latitude.

Todd screwed up the 12th game last year when every other team seemed to find one; that game being the difference in a bowl last year
IMO he messed up how to influence bowl committees this year for bowl selection this year and his tweet was darn right embarrassing and nothing about supporting coach

all indications of slowly seeing bad AD trend...

Very good question. I wouldn't hold my breath on getting a good answer.
