With all the HC transition in SEC: Why no Richt wanted?

I've got to agree with gnats. Mr. Richt will be the next VD. Meanwhile, we're essentially 0-16 against him if you want to get real personal about it.

I know you're not necessarily saying it does, but UGA's success has little to do with Gailey.
No, maybe he isn't, but I think Gailey has very much to do with it, as I pointed out to sfalco. Historically, they are a Top 10/11 team, because historically they have been a two-loss team. They wouldn't be an historically two-loss team had Gailey won the games he should have against them. They would have more three loss seasons (or a one-loss becomes a two). And if/when we bring in a coach that can meet that expectation, they can't ring up an automatic win at the tail end of their schedule.

Everyone here said all season that Gailey's employment hinged upon the UGA game. Well, that works the other way around too. Would UGA be sitting at #4 if we had beaten them?

Good point clapper. If we beat them the last game of the season they drop out of the top ten. End of the season losses hurt you more than early season losses in the final ratings.
