Worst loss in last 50 years?

In and of itself, no. But given the context of us trying to get out of a hole in a changing college football world after years of sucking, it may be the worst

I have always loathed the 2012 MTSU loss. It was the last game that I was able to take my father to - an O’Keefe alum life-long Tech fan and the primary reason I, a UGA alum, remains a Tech fan. He passed from dementia complications the following spring. I have to say that this loss is worse, primarily because I am really questioning why I still put myself through this. It almost breaks my heart to think I’m emotionally done with the Tech football program, but how much more bullshit do I need to subject myself to?

Still 7 more games to see the program sink to further new lows.

You don’t think that Miami, Clemson, Ugag aren’t going to roll up 50-60 points? Or Dook hanging 40 or 50 on them? Looked a like a lot of quit out there today with some really poor coaching. Keeping anything from the Collins error has been a poor choice from a green AD.

Throw in a stingy, small fan base and the situation looks pretty dire.

Feels like the biggest setback loss. The Citadel was bad, but expectations were very low transitioning out of the TO. NIU was bad, but at least it forecasted the end for Collins, even if it took another year. Most of the blowout losses were at least to decent programs.

But this comes after a win against a respectable Wake program, with a chance to move over .500 five games into a season for the first time in awhile. This like getting sober for a month and then immediately getting arrested for DUI manslaughter.

We have the good fortune of not having to play the powerhouse Blue Devils this year.

Do you guys realize just how pampered and coddled this team has been for three years? It takes a while to beat that out of their system. We will be up and down a bit this year. Looks like 5-7 is back in the cards, but hey ACCCG still an option!

and no. The worst loss in 50 years would be when your undefeated season comes crashing down against top 10 ND, and your star QB suffers a broken ankle after showing his mom for hours.

Duke’s loss was much worse than whatever it is we were forced to witness. There was already little to no hope for our season being anything beyond a rebuilding year. Our team is so culturally weak from years of Geoff Collins. Duke could’ve had something special this year.
