Would beating Notre Dame redeem the season?

It would make sneaking up on u(sic)ga a little harder.. not that it matters
 
We are playing soooooooo bad right now, I can’t even remember who we lost to 4 days ago.
 
I think it would sure help
it has been a crap season but a huge upset over the hunchbacks - or georgia would show that at least we are capable of winning or winning a big game. I'm not seeing an ability to win on this team - whatsoever.
dook and UNC are looking like the annual fluke wins over a crappy teams.
 
Of course it would. In ten years, no one would care if we won 5 games instead of 3, but we would certainly remember beating top 10 ND in SB.

Now, THAT would be the greatest transition in CFB history vs the original hype version.
 
For me it would.

One of the most memorable games of the last decade was the Miracle on Techwood game, and that season was öööö. 2015 was filled with a bunch of near misses much like 2021. This one also has the potential to be a positive memory a decade from now. Although I had way more confidence in the coach and QB at the time.

No one is sneaking up on those Guys, they play focused & disciplined.

Also, we should never be the kind of Program that needs to sneak up on anyone or hope that they are looking ahead to the SEC-CG.

That sounds so G5-ish, 'I hope we can sneak up on them', we need to get a good class for 2022 and hopefully improve quickly going forward

Yes, never making a bowl game, but beating ND would make it so much better… what kind of question is this?

You should self Ban for thinking so little of GT FB , that you think the only way for us to compete is sneak up on Teams, but then again, you also thought the only way for us to ever compete was to rely on cut blocking and hope the opposition would worry about injuries and their draft prospects instead of playing well vs us, but then again given your nature I'm not surprised at anything you say

Beating ND would help with some of the sour moods around here; but CGC will need to follow it up with bowl eligibility next year to save his job. I'm not sure beating ND changes opinions of Thacker & Pnope much.
