There is a thing called “Recruiting”. It tends to be fairly important. And this is a critical period for such. How is going to sit in the living rooms of potential players and their families and try to convince them to commit to GT and play for him if his focus is coaching another team?
 
The guy is/was a damn analyst. I can't imagine he has some type of critical role in their bowl game - they've got plenty of people to watch and break down film. If head coaches and most staffs can leave I am wondering what is so important about an analyst. Oh, I get it - Kirby Smart wants to prove he is an even bigger asshole than we know him to be. Tell him to show up in Atlanta and get to work or we will move on to somebody else. If he is indeed still working in Athens this is not a good way to get off to a good start with us. Have fun watching film and drawing up scout team cards.

He is reportedly the Stetson whisperer. They apparently need him to create the safe space between Monken and the 25 year old.

This presumes that BF would quit his OC job at Tech because he can't coach one, maybe two, games at UGA? GTFO
 
So, I haven't heard anything as to whether or not CBF would be coaching for UGA this weekend but it's been awfully quiet without any mention of him in the press or in other places over the last couple of weeks. I'm guessing they are deliberately putting a media lid on this and my guess is that he will be in the coaches box on Saturday. Just a guess. Anybody hear anything?

He is coaching with UGA.
 
Over/Under on Tech getting mentioned when they show Faulkner during the games is 3. That's free advertising for Tech that the UGAg analyst is coming to GT.

Vast, vast majority of people watching don't even know Faulkner's name. Extremely doubtful that he gets mentioned three times himself, let alone that Tech gets mentioned three times.
