Beating the dwags would be sweet...break a long losing streak at home against them.

GO JACKETS!!

A bowl game does more for our perception than a 4-8 or 5-7 season with a win against the scum from the cesspool. It would do more for development (extra practice time), more for recruiting, and more to keep our top playmakers from the portal.

A vote for beating uga feels good in the short term, but a vote for the bowl is the long-term approach. As a Tech alum, I’m fond of making 40 year decisions.

Does Key vote for the bowl game?

The contract does offer Key a chance to add to his income through a variety of incentives. They include $100,000 for an eight-win season and another $100,000 for a 10-win season. If the Jackets win six regular-season games and go to a bowl game (outside of the College Football Playoff), Key will earn $50,000 and an extra $50,000 if Tech wins the bowl game. Similarly, Key will receive $50,000 for leading Tech into the ACC title game and another $50,000 for winning it. The largest incentive is for winning the CFP championship, $700,000.

Should he get a bonus for beating the Dwags?

We have beaten UGA exactly 10 times in the last 40 years, so my 40 year decision is to vote to beat Georgia.

Disagree. A win over Georgia is desperately needed to help the programs perception in state. uga is currently the top of the mountain with back-to-back championships and a win would give us serious momentum and put us in the media spotlight far more than an appearance in the Shreveport weedeater bowl.

Now one couldn’t make that trade every year and have a 40 year program as you say, but that’s not the question asked. This year a win over uga would give us a better boost than a ööööty bowl.

A 4-win Tech team beating uga would be national news, unlike a Birmingham Bowl game vs Temple. It also helps with in-state recruiting.

Is your access to pussy in some way correlated to the performance of the GT football team? That would explain why you've been such a grumpy Gus lately.
Well I don’t think I’ve been that grumpy other than when Braves öööö the bed.

I legitimately don’t remember the last bowl we were in. I remember every last win over the mutts. Every single one.

and I don’t care what some avocado toast eating ucla alumnus in Santa Monica thinks about the Georgia tech brand. I care about showing up to work every day and laughing at all the Georgia northwesteastern grads and their Walmart uga hoodies.

A 4-win Tech team beating uga would be considered a fluke by the media. An 8+ win GT team beating uga would start to change the narrative.
4-win Tech team gets the attention. The 2024 national championship sells the narrative

You’ll missing the point. WHO cares about the national narrative. Realistically we’ll never over the national narrative and if we do it’ll be a one off. Thats the reality. Therefore, I just wanna wreck these fools

Nobody’s missing the point. We all want to beat the mutts over any other scenario (most of us). I just don’t agree with how “awesome” it would be to not qualify for a bowl game but beat the mutts. It’s a loser’s fantasy.
