Don't know but the players I do follow on twitter have not tweeted since about 8 hours ago. That is unusual considering most of them post there every time they breathe.
 
:eekfacepalm:Did the GTAA or Russel expect to show their new design to the team and expect a bunch of 18-22 yos to not post a picture in social media?
 
I think we are lucky they are trotting this helmet out for a night game. Being under the lights should accent it really well. I can't imagine these for a nooner.
 
I like them. If our players and potential recruits like them, I like them even more.

It's one game. Changing it up a little bit won't hurt anyone.

So much butthurt for something so trivial.

Not gonna lie... I really like the royal blue Duke one. If the glossy logo can provide enough contrast against the matte black, I think that'll look good too.

The Rutgers "battle-scarred" helmets look pretty awesome up close, but I don't know if the effect will come through on tv.

Obviously designing alternate helmets is the new "thing".

An announcement was made at practice today by CPJ. Dont be suprised not to read much football-related posts for a while.
 
That camo VPI helmet is actually worse than their Thanksgiving helmet. Yeesh. Also, it's nice to see that Maryland is doing their best to help the retarded find jobs in the design industry still.

Maybe they think they are fielding a motocross team. Sort of what it looks like.

Up until a few years ago, Duke's helmets had been that royal blue for years. It looks good sitting there in that photo but honestly after having seen them in their dark blue shirts with those blue hats just for as long as I did, I'm still not ready to see them go back to it. It was boring and ugly.
