Commit

I'm simply curious if you had any more creative ways of bashing an 18 year old who wants to attend Georgia Tech since your original criticism is no longer valid.

I think the disappointment over Ty was mostly frustration about the presumed loss of the Arkansas kid.

LOL, bainbridge and disecq FAIL. Jumped the gun on that one, didn't you. I still don't understand why you guys are Georgia Tech fans. You probably want him to commit to one of those other schools, because öööö Georgia Tech, right?

OMG. Other schools with ööööty recruiting are reaching too!!! We've been vindicated!

According to ESPN, UNC has the 18th best class right now and Missouri the 36th. What's the line for a good class, out of curiosity? Does a BCS offer only count if it comes from Alabama, LSU, Notre Dame, or Florida?

According to ESPN, Tech isn't in the top #40. On Rivals, Tech is #67.

You probably have some quick comeback on why that ranking is bogus but UNC's ranking by those same people is totally accurate.

Yeah if you go by total number of points. If you go by average star we are a lot higher than 67.

This point (which isn't correct, as already proven above) doesn't even make sense. You're saying it's a bad thing that Tech (with its outside the top 40 class) got a recruit that had offers from "better recruiting" programs? Why wouldn't it be a good thing for a school with a class ranked outside the top 40 to get a commit from someone with offers from #18 and #36?

You didn't like Griffin because he wasn't recruited by anyone outside the academies. Now he has and you're lost, I get it.

Not that any of those rankings really matter, but you're losing your troll touch.

I'll type real slow so maybe you'll understand.

You don't believe in the rankings. You think they're wrong for Tech. That means you can't use UNC's current ranking as the basis of your argument.

but the basis of your argument is that the recruiting rankings are not dumb so to use them as a basis for a counterpoint of your reasoning is in fact perfectly valid.

It would be like using Catholic doctrine and assumed discontinuities there to convince a Catholic to become another faith.

Essentially he proved that you have no basis for your comment that teams with ööööty recruiting also offered Ty Griffin.

I'm sorry, link to where I don't believe or disagree with the rankings? They aren't typically very accurate and certainly have their limitations but at least paint a decent picture of how schools are doing.

Either way, screw the rankings. Your criticism was that Griffin had zero BCS offers, so he must be awful at football. Now he has two, from two decent programs with enough recent success. Now you desperately want to continue to bash Griffin but can't find a way to. I understand this is hard for you.

I've made no such argument that the recruiting rankings are correct. In fact I called UNC's recruiting "ööööty".

Right, but you apparently do believe in them. So it doesn't matter what Jackets530 thinks when you whine about us getting a guy who wasn't offered from any decent programs, then he gets offers from those schools.

Also, pretty sure you typing at any speed won't affect comprehension.
