Vad is gone! Transferring

Glad he's going somewhere where he can be successful. I don't know why people are upset here. Seriously.

Man, this is awful. Vad having two years left was one of the only things still giving me optimism.

Also, anyone badmouthing him is an idiot. The situation didn't work out, and that's nobody's fault. Wish him the best.

The kid is essentially giving up and betraying his teammates that trusted him. He is the worst kind of person. Please trash him.

He ate up alllllll the BS hype about him for 2 years. Then when it was his turn to step up he turned out to be just another below average QB.

No one here knows the situation surrounding this transfer, so it's unfair to jump down the guy's throat. If more negative details come out, I may change my opinion, but even then I can thank him for the efforts he did put out there for us, while lamenting his decision.

Just to add speculation. One would think if this happens it makes it even more difficult for a coach who it has been rumored to have one more year.

Whatever dude. He is trying to make the decision that is best for him and his family. The players also like Justin Thomas anyways. Its not like he came out badmouthing the Institute or coaching staff or whatever. I think he realized he is not a great fit for the system and I kinda agree with him. He might find a better fit somewhere else.

Ate up all the BS hype?? He is a quiet and reserved kid. Didn't eat up anything. He showed really good accuracy and arm strength.

Hey Valdosta, a lot of those teammates you're referring to were openly campaigning for him to lose his job during the season. Who betrayed who?

going to JMU. I heard it right after the game on Monday. I was hoping he would change his mind and stick with the program.

Unless he transfers down in division he will have to sit out a year and will only play 1 more year. But he is a round peg in a square hole.

This. Can't believe how classless some of y'all are. Vad was a great kid. Just didn't work out

So Anthony Allen betrayed his teammates at Virginia Tech by playing here? Tashard Choice? I'm guessing he knew at the Music City Bowl, but all indications were he played hard. He held up his end.

Not just the OL, but he was hurt a lot by inexperienced receivers this year. Most of his mistakes were earlier in the year, his first year starting and having to play full games versus half games like UNC.

He had 46% career completion percentage for 15 TDs and 13 ints...

Tevin was 51% for 21 and 15.

Tevin also played his Jr and Sr years here. If Tevin had attempted that deep ball to Waller it would still not have come down yet.

Expand on this a little

Tevin wasn't a bad QB. Never thought he was. Just didn't have very good arm strength. Vad threw a ton more passes than Tevin and was not a good option QB. Vad is a LOAD better QB than Tevin.
