At the skill positions kill are flat out killing us right now. Losing two receivers to the NFL and our three best running backs didn't help either.

We are playing way to many freshmen at the skill positions. It doesn't help either that we have lost six or seven a backs si ce the spring. You can see the a backs missing blocks, making dumb mistakes, and just flat out not ready to play at this level.

Looks like it's gonna be one of those years where you take what you can get.

Yep. No chemistry between JT and a new cast of skill players. Oline have no faith in the frosh. This is the summary of the 2015 season.

Bull crap. All teams face injuries and graduation. Good teams find a way.

Afraid so Rum. People can piss and moan all they want but youth is a killer for us right now. I bought into the hype as well as a lot of us, because I thought we could plug and play and it just doesn't happen with this offense.

Can't disagree with you '92. Sewak is one of Paul's boys though and he isn't going anywhere.

We can't keep half their team out of the backfield with 4 returning starters. This is embarrassing. The young skill position players can't develop because there's someone in their face. Sewak should be gone Monday morning. This line is awful.

I tend to agree, I can't think of any reason why the O-line has been so horrible all season.

The last series should tell you all you need to know about the o line --three straight plays blown up bc 2/3 of their d line were in the backfield immediately after the snap ...it's simply horrid play by experienced players.

I agree '92. Just thought we would be way better than this.

I did too. It is hard for me to understand how we became so awful when we still have the majority of our OL and our best QB in PJ's tenure. Is it really as simple as youth at the skill positions?

I think it is Buzz. Now don't get me wrong, our OL has taken a step back, but the youth has been evident after we got past those first two games. I just don't think this is a plug and play offense as I thought it was.

Who knows maybe I am wrong.

I missed which one of those inexperienced WR, A or B backs missed the tackle on CUs first long TD run.

Whether any coach wants to or not, you have to, at times, be able to run or throw. In our case, the way to justify ones O genius with the TO is to give your players a passing scheme that almost guarantees failure. That way you can make remarks about how many times you tried to throw and it does not work. The better coaches give their players, and put them in position, to have some success.

FOUR WEEKS in a row with punting problems - does not seem to register that is not a good thing.

Someone said everyone has injuries - true. The difference is how many use it as an excuse. We have to recruit enough players to have B backs, A backs, WR. That probably cancels out at least 1 or 2 OL or DL recruits per year, but IDK. When you have that many players at 2 positions, it seems logical that is perhaps where we might have the most injuries.

All consistently decent programs build up with a good D. Since 2008 it has been 2nd priority here.

NEVERTHELESS - ANOTHER HALF TO PLAY. CHANCE TO SEE IF CPJ CAN INSTILL A SENSE OF PRIDE IN THE GUYS.

GO JACKETS,

I don't disagree with a word you said Tex. I too think as you do that we should put players in position to have success. Not using as an excuse, probably just more pissed than anything.

Praying for Justin. Take him out.

Not fair for this kid with his great attitude and talent to go thru this.

We have experienced OL, CU has young D. Obvious that sewak caught lightning in a bottle last year with an on field leader in Shaq.
