Richt to Miami?

I really could see him landing at South Carolina to try and get as close as possible to the dawgs. Would be hilarious if that happened and he went on a run against uga

In all likelihood, Richt never coaches another game. I don't see him going anywhere.

I think it's telling that there's more discussion about where Richt will go than there is about who UGA will hire to replace him.

If I were Richt and was approached by Miami, I would have the alums make a promise to build a stadium on or near campus before taking the job. I would send them to UConn and have them look over UConn's stadium. 40k. Expandable. Just build a lower bowl type thing. All chairs except endzone student sections. Put in a ring of luxury boxes at the top for revenue. Design so it could be expanded later if needed.

I think the city of Coral Gables has some kind of ordinance that prevents the U from building a stadium within city limits.

I just think 55 years old is awful young to just call it quits. I would think he'd be out to prove his critics wrong.

He's rich and probably tired of pandering to dipshit teenage recruits and unrealistic fan bases . I wouldn't blame him one bit if he decided it wasn't worth the hassle anymore.

Yahoo twitter:
Mark Richt says whether "it's in the role of head coach, coordinator, QBs coach," he'd like to continue coaching.

Tired of it?

The guy is the chief panderer.

Meh. He may coach a highschool team. But my money is on not taking a high level job again.

Would be interesting. I was saying this the moment Al Golden was fired after that Clemson loss a month ago. What's more interesting is where is Jacob Eason going now?
