A few years ago when they released the report on d1 athletes' SAT scores by school, there was only 1 school in the entire country whose football players averaged over a 1000 on the 2 part SAT (roughly equivalent to 1500 on 3 part). If he's anywhere close to a 1500, he's above average for a d1 football player. I don't think we should be turning up our noses at him, especially since his score is pretty average for a GT football player.
BTW, that 1 school with an average over 1000 was Georgia Tech, if you aren't familiar with the study. LINK
Only one week to go before the decision.
I feel like I'll need to go back and sig this later.
I realize that, but that's irrelevant to my post. My point is that DR's scores are pretty decent for a d1 football player, so implying that a 3-part SAT 1500 makes him a dumbass is a bit over the top, even for Stingtalk. The study didn't have test scores for private schools. Stanford, Vandy and ND are probably similar or slightly higher than GT.

We won't know, but I doubt Vandy & ND football SATs are higher than Tech's.The study didn't have test scores for private schools. Stanford, Vandy and ND are probably similar or slightly higher than GT.
I knew a guy who went to UGA and Southern Poly for Civil Engineering. I'm not sure which he graduated from.
He, well, struggled very much with the EIT. I don't want to hold it against him, since he put a lot of effort, but, uh, yeah.
Apparently May 2nd is now the day.
And not even a Thursday, unless the announcement is in 2019.
To be fair, there's plenty IEs at Tech that also struggle with it. :P
You say that, but IE is not even real engineering. To be fair, there's plenty IEs at Tech that also struggle with it. :P

Ahem. This I.E. with a PE and a lot more than 80k begs to differ.
We do admit we aren't as nerdy.
Perhaps one of you extry smart engineers can set a countdown until the planned day for us more mathematically challenged brethren?
bandman not nerdy?Ahem. This I.E. with a PE and a lot more than 80k begs to differ.
