ACC moves this year's championship game from Charlotte

This is BS. If the ACC means it, then it should pull ALL games from NC. That means zero home games for Duke, Wake, UNC, and NCSt.

Those games should be moved to the opposing teams stadium whenever possible.

They should also move their offices from Greensboro if they really care. But they don't so they won't. Just pandering to the SJW crowd.

If college athletics really has a place in the middle of a political pissing contest, then put your money where your mouth is Swofford: Move the ACC league offices out of Greensboro and make UNC, Duke, NC State, and Wake Forest play only road games in all sports. Until then, you're just another example of the worst of both the American political system (a hypocrite looking to curry favor) and the Ivory Tower mentality (we're so tolerant, we're going to make sure everybody who doesn't agree with us is punished).

I would make that my sig, but it is tragically too long.

Man this board's free market republicans sure hate it when the free market decides to act against something they like!

Why are these private entities allowed to do whatever they want!? We need more government regulations to stop them

Well, society/Big Govt already decided that private entities making private decisions aren't allowed, so I, for one, am just riding with their "logic": http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/co...grapher-cannot-refuse-service-to-gay-couples/

They have a right to bitch about the company they're buying the product from. And there's nothing else that can be done about it other than bitching. Noone's gonna boycott the ACC championship if their team makes it, just because they're mad about ACC's decision to politicize the product.

I think I like the idea of playing at the home stadium of the team with the better record. Of course more butthurt will ensue if that becomes a reality. And what is college football without butthurt?

I can drive to the ACCCG in Charlotte. Moving the game to Tampa or jax or bFE will kill attendance.

We don't have the pee-pee police here. Nobody cares what you do in the bathroom.

Don't confuse me with somebody who is a fan of HB2. But just because I don't like HB2 doesn't mean I'm okay with college athletics becoming political. You don't fix a f*** up by doing an even bigger one.

Both the law and the reaction to it are dumb, IMO.

Charlotte really was the perfect geographic spot for the game, as it's right in the middle of ACC country. Geographically, Atlanta would be the next logical place, but then you're second fiddle to the SEC.

Gillette Stadium in Dec sounds like a dream.

Thanks Swofford.

If the SEC championship is a sleeper (e.g. a 10-2 Alabama vs. a 6-6 Mizzou) and the ACC is not (11-1 FSU vs. 12-0 GT) then we could see the ACC game in prime time played after a noon SEC game. That would send a hell of a message.
