Capturing the mutthurt (and it is glorious)

We have a Ga Southern grad in our office, his Mama went to UGA. (may have worked at Effies, still checking on that). So he is a UGA fan, wears red and black on Friday', talks trash all the time, in an A/E office. A real nadlicker, nicknamed Jethro. Sign at his parking space says, 28-27. I do hope the wind does not blow it down tonight. I used an entire roll of that 2" wide scotch packing tape, nice 30 x 42 drawing, 28-27.
I fired the only uGA grad that works for me 6 months ago. I almost wish he was still around just so I could rub this win in his face.

Look at this watch öööööööööööö, you're fired.
He wore a fake Rolex. I never told him I knew (I assume he knew since it was a pretty bad knockoff, probably cost him $50).

Reading through their game day thread was a mirror image of the clown that was 4 seats from me with his two young sons and wife (who was exceedingly embarrassed by him throughout the game). Comments from that asshat throughout the game included:
  • "I hate Tech, I ööööing hate Tech so much" (I thought we didn't matter)
  • Looks to his wife (who doesn't give a öööö), "YOU ALWAYS FOCUS ON THE PITCH MAN, I'M ALWAYS SAYING FOCUS ON THE PITCH MAN, NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO FOCUS ON THE PITCH MAN, NOTHING ELSE MATTERS, WOOOOOOO". Kirby should have brought this guy on to help with scheming for Tech, obvi.
  • "CHOP BLOCK, CHOP BLOCK, about damn time you call it! ALL THEY DO IS CHOP BLOCK" looks to his wife, who still doesn't give a öööö, "THEY CAUSE SO MANY INJURIES TO OTHER TEAMS WITH THEIR BLOCKING" (thinking back to the game, I recall only one injury all game, and it was a GT D lineman (Simmons)).
  • (UGA up by 13 after the killer punt to us, looking around to his inbred brethren around him, while "Knuck while you Buck" is on the loud speaker) "I swear, we have the WORST audio/video guys in the country! PLAY SOMETHING TO GET US HYPED UP! PLAY SOMETHING WE KNOW!", his wife responds..."Honey, the players are bouncing to it, I think the younger kids like this..."
  • Pre-interception, "We need to pass the ball and score again"
  • Post-interception, "RUN THE CLOCK OUT WHY ARE WE PASSING IT ON OUR SIDE OF THE FIELD"
  • End of game, his kids who were dipshits like him, both individually shake my hand and say "thanks for being cool and not obnoxious". He was just a fat bitter man and couldn't look me in the eye.
  • His wife told me she's a UTenn grad and her husband and 2 sons left her in the stadium and walked to the car alone after the UGA/UT game. ööööing winners.
Uh, so you banged the wife in the parking lot after the game, right?

Ha no. Drove home with my beautiful uGA wife who was a great a sport about the whole thing. In fact she said on the drive home, "if you're always gonna be in a mood like this when you beat us, I don't care if you guys win more often". From your mouth to Bobby Dodd's ears, love.

Should have had one of those manager tois in the parking lot.

Well, then scan the Nadlicker Sports page and send to him via email. In December, send him a card and ask if he enjoyed the email and game, enclose the AJC sports page.

There has been a lot of fallout from Georgia fans over this game and over this entire season. They are definitely divided between sour grapes and hoping for the future, but there is one thing the fan base is doing that they have always done: overestimating themselves.

Now that the dust is settled, I've seen a lot of comparisons of Smart’s first year to Saban's first year coming from social media, news comments, and message boards, but no consideration to the different circumstances surrounding each coach. Saban inherited a 6-win team and Smart inherited a 10-win team. Saban may have had an ugly loss on his schedule that year, but he still beat Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Ole Miss. Georgia narrowly escaped the ugly loss to Nicholls State, but they lost to Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Ole Miss… along with Florida and Georgia Tech. A team that is 1 year removed from a 10-win season just lost to every one of their major rivals for the first time in school history, and instead of accepting that they’ve made a huge mistake they are allowing their unsubstantiated ego to get in the way once again.

"We are a great team (we promise)! When _______ happens next year we are going all the way!"

How many fill-in-the-blanks has it been with them? Matt Stafford, Todd Grantham, the Dream Team, Jacob Eason, Moreno/Gurley/Chubb/Michel, Kirby Smart – the list goes on.

Last year, UGA fired their coach because they said they had the talent of Alabama and deserved better than 10 wins. This year's excuse is that the talent isn’t there and their new coach needs better players. Which is it? Clemson, Auburn, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas A&M: there are plenty of other teams with similar recruiting classes to Georgia that have kept things competitive or beaten Alabama. Georgia’s head-to-head? A game that started with Georgia taunting Alabama

and ending in humiliating 38-10 loss at home to a lower ranked Alabama team in a game that was realistically over before halftime.

And so the inevitable strawman argument is that UGA plays in the SEC. That is true, and maybe they would have a greater population of games against Alabama if they met them in Atlanta more than just 2012, a game they say was the real BCS Championship game that year and one they still lost (see: “next year we are going all the way”). The problem is that the SEC East is the WORST division in college football and has been for at least two seasons:

http://www.sbnation.com/college-foo...ec-west-sec-east-big-12-ten-division-rankings

UGA fans like to talk like their team has a winning tradition, but in the last 10 years they have gone to 1 BCS bowl and have played in 1 conference championship. Meanwhile, we are 2 & 4. In the last three seasons they have a winning record against 1 of their major rivals in Auburn. If it weren’t for great DB play against Georgia Tech last year, and an electric performance from Todd Gurley the year before to squeak past Tennessee, they would have been blanked against Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia Tech. Instead they are boasting an uncompetitive 2-7 record. If you can’t win the worst division in college football and you get trounced by any team with a pedigree, then you have no right saying you have a winning tradition.

The bulldogs need to face the facts. The coaching game is like balancing on a razor, and they fired a good coach for an unknown element that isn’t paying off. Georgia Tech may have higher highs and lower lows season-over-season, but we run the state of Georgia. The only thing that blocked us was Mark Richt, and while we graciously thank Georgia for releasing him we have a duty to remind them that in doing so our prediction of the outcome has come true. Kirby Smart is not Nick Saban, and he is worse than Mark Richt.

So, to the Georgia fans coming to the board, this is gentle reminder that Georgia Tech is an 8-win team playing in the 3rd toughest division and 2nd toughest conference in college football. Do not be surprised that we beat you; it is your ego that is blocking your ability to see things correctly. I don’t care what you think about your record against Georgia Tech 10 years ago. Bringing it up only proves you are living in the past. Florida is 3-for-3 against you. Tennessee is 2-for-3 against you. We are 2-for-3 against you.

You are a middle of the pack team in the worst division in the FBS. You have not had a winning tradition since Dooley and you fired the 2nd best coach in your program’s history for a coach who is in over his head. Your program is on the decline. You do not run Jacksonville. You do not run Knoxville. And you sure as hell don’t run this state.

Signed,

Uh oh... I have heard thru my sources that a recount is underway.

The Ugag coaching staff and officials from the Southeastern Conference are reviewing every minute of film from yesterday's game and retallying the point totals to confirm that we actually had more points than UGag when the clock went to zero.

They may not like the several holding calls that weren't called on uGA's OLine and the horse collar on Lynch that wasn't called. May not wanna review this one boys.

If not sarcasm, the rest of the FB world and media would tear the SEC a new one! They already have a black eye to the non SEC fan!

Funny, all the Georgia Southern fans got up and gave a standing ovation in our stadium when UGAg lost to Vanderbilt. Tell that ööööer to have a bit of self respect.

over the years at paulson, Tech scores - when Tech was leading or winning - got bigger cheers than Georgia scores. Unless Georgia was losing or lost. then those announcements got cheered loudly, even in a stadium where a goodly portion of the fans are probably Dogs fans second.

We were in the private suites, just behind the student section yesterday. Great view. Wow. Oh yeah, view of the field wasn't bad either. Couple of young guys right in front of us kept going "all day! all day!" when the Dwags were playing well in the third quarter. They got real quiet in the last eight minutes. One of them did turn around and shook our hands afterwards. Had that look on his face of "what the @@@@ just happened?"

My buddy asked me as we were leaving to go to the stadium Saturday morning. I said, we're going to win. If we don't turn the ball over, we will win. Gotta admit, it looked mighty bleak after the punt to the 6 and the 2-yard loss to start that series. When Austin got the pick, I just knew we had them..

Every one of PJ's wins in Athens has been a kick to the balls of the Mutts. Up 16 at the half. Get a go-ahead score with less than 20 seconds left. Up 13 with under 9 minutes to play and Tech at its own 6.

I said to my buddy afterward, you know, they may hate Florida or even Auburn more. But they fear PJ now. They're about to start really hating us again. Good. Let the hate flow through their veins.
