I got that öööö onto the field from the top of the upper deck. Guy near me is the one who threw it threw a plane through the uprights. By far the loudest cheer of the game was when it went through. I was grateful for any excuse not to pay attention to the game.

It was more entertaining/less frightening than my previous experience. I got dragged to the 1998 Peach Bowl and back then, they left one of those beanie cows in every single cup holder in the Dome. Our seats were at the bottom of the upper deck and once the idiots started their comeback against Virginia, the cows started flying. I like to imagine that down below there were some Georgia fans who arrived in Atlanta that night having been technically mentally retarded their entire life, until a beanie cow from above struck their heads with such force that it somehow knocked them back above the threshold of enough intelligence to be reasonably considered conscious. For a moment they stood there looking around at the slack-jawed, dead-eyed, walking, talking, barking man-sized malignant tumors around them in red shirts and realized that nothing described in any religious text came close to being worse than the hell they were standing in. Just as tears began to gather in their asymmetrical eyes, another cow struck them mightily in the head, destroying this brief moment of clarity forever - and they resumed barking.

Brand new quarterback. I'd wait to see how that works out before I talk about inserting ourselves into the national discussion.
That's Phil Steele's job. He concerns himself with things like that because his business is being right. But I don't have a magazine or people looking to me for answers, I have StingTalk, boredom and self-loathing. Phil can spend the offseason trying to decide a reasonable floor and ceiling for our team next year but I've only got nine months to carefully consider each of the best and worst case scenarios imaginable for 2017. Since I'm still high off beating Georgia, I currently like the optimistic scenarios more.

did anyone see the LSU vs A&M game? A&M is a decent team. LSU killed them. I don't want LSU until we are a bit better on defense.
Yeah LSU appears to have a legit d
I never want to play lsu again

Quit being whiny bitches. Let's not forget that when we played them, that was CPJ's 1st year. Yes we had a boat load of talent that year, but 1st year in a new system and a team with a month to prepare for it. I'd like a revenge re-match.

This too. It's always weird to me when a team loses and their fans talk about being grateful they don't have to play that team again or something to that effect. Like.. what? How is your single greatest desire in that moment not to have a rematch and bludgeon to death the team who just beat you? Give me the best team we can get as our bowl opponent and if we can get some degree of payback, give me that too.

Because sometimes you have to lick your wounds enough and be strong enough before you seek revenge, otherwise you get bludgeoned to death again. I personally won't öööö my pants if we get LSU but I would rather face Auburn.

Fwiw, we were worried about USC in 2012 and a 6-6 Georgia Tech managed to beat them.

I'd rather play Auburn as well, just because I wish we played them regularly and if we finished a season with wins over them and Georgia I'd probably laugh myself into the ICU. Whichever the case, I try not to get too worked up over losing/replacing QBs. We had to replace God's only begotten son after 1999 and everyone was certain that we were in for a truly terrible season but we were one Kerry Watkins drop and one count of sodomy by ACC officials away from going undefeated that year.

Either way, what I'm getting at is that I'm glad we're in the position to be able to start back on the path we fell off of last year, if we are good enough to seize upon it.

FWIW, Yahoo Sports had us going to Sun Bowl vs Colorado State. Good chance to stick it to that ex-dwag Bobo. Hard to say if our players would be "fired up" for that one though.

We aren't going to the Sun Bowl again any time soon. Twice in a decade is plenty. They will pick UNC most likely.

Assuming the Belk doesn't pick them. Again. That would be like 4 times in 8 years or something for them right?

Actually I've seen 3 projections picking us to go to Sun Bowl, 2 of them are picking us to play Stanford and one of them is picking Utah.

I added a poll to see what your predictions are.
