Chubb & Michel Returning for Senior Season

Chubb should leave, just needs to have a good pro combine - 3rd round or so. Pointless to burn more tread off his
tires. Michel - meh.

I have never seen either as a back we should fear.

Probably wants to try and beat GT, since he's never played in a game where uGA won. Bless his heart.
you might be on to something:

@AnthonyDasher1 of UGAsports.com:
Nick Chubb said he decided to come back when he saw Ga. Tech tearing up the hedges and planting its flag on the G after their win at Sanford

Michel makes sense, but with Chubb one has to wonder how many time he can flirt with leg injuries before his draft stock plummets.

Seems like we should plant some hedges in BDS this Spring and nurture them until they are fully grown and then rip them up after we beat uGA in Atlanta. Maybe even paint a "G" on our own field just to stomp on it and plant the GT flag on it after the game. Ya know, just to make Chubb feel more at home.

So, at least one of them are staying an extra year because of the butthurt from us damaging their weeds?

It'll be doubly sweet when he not only öööös up his knee but we stomp their asses, again.

I believe Chubb is overrated and Michel is underrated. Michel is quicker. I don't think Chubb is a bad back but have never, even before injury, felt he was great. I must admit my opinion is primarily based on UGA/GT games. Chubb had a terrible game against GT in 2014. Fumble and Tech stuffed him in the 2nd half. Chubb has slippery hips but a bit slow at hitting the hole. Michel played well against Tech in 2015 and can hit the hole fast.

Gurley was great - these guys are good but not great.

Brendan Douglas will NOT be returning. Career over, life over. Closed out his senior season strong with 5 carries, after a mere 84 in his first season. Wonder what he was thinking riding the pine all game against us

Agreed. A healthy Gurley is a beast. Moreno was better than Chubb, but a bit of a puss.

That going to UGAg was all worth it. Competing for a National Title his entire career at UGAg. SEC baby! And a great education with endless opportunities, I'm sure.

I'm not about to go find it and paste it here, but I remember watching a freshman highlight video of Chubb and being pretty dang impressed. I'm not saying he was as good as Gurley, but looked like he maybe could have been with another season or two. Now, whether it was injury or that he had already hit his ceiling (or a little of both), nothing more ever really materialized though.
