It would be one thing if he were healthy. He's already had a major injury though. The risk, and the fact that he'll be splitting carries, make this an extremely unintelligent choice because he's not going to move up the draft order. I hope we punish him for it by denying him the endzone and hanging 50 on them.

Good point. Chubb and Michel are not SEC Championship material. Perhaps they ride pine next season as the better recruits come on board.
