New BDS Security Procedures

So glass bottles in your shorts are still cool? That's always been my m.o. Protip - Of course you have to wear a new set of Fruits so it's doesn't wiggle out. Be frosty!

Terrible trying to get in on east side, especially at corner of North Ave and Techwood.

Not as bad as the traffic leaving on Luckie St after the game. One lane now since bike path put in. It used to be quick trying to get on freeway. Didn't move at all and had to go over to Northside Dr. Traffic management is so much worse, and no reason for it.

Won't keep me from going to a game, but still annoying.

Gate 8 sucked, huge line 15mins before kickoff. Scanners couldn't read electronic tickets, so the gate workers were typing ticket numbers into the scanners. Missed kickoff.

Upper West wasn't too bad. Then again, I was there 30 minutes prior so that I could grab a bite to eat before the game.

Scanners were really slow at gate 9, too. How is this not figured out?

Gate 4 sucked bad. Got to the cluster öööö a little after noon, got to my seat as they were tossing the coin.

Bag "searches" were worthless, the wanding was pathetic. I wasn't wanded at all, which was a good thing because I smuggled in a tactical nuke that I would have set off in the event of a GT loss.

In the 104 year history of BDS has any crime (non-alcohol smuggling) occurred in the stadium that these security measures would have prevented?

Any single one?

Wand was not a problem, besides my member.

Ticket scanner on the other hand....epic fail. I had 4 people giving me tickets like I had a fake one or something. Guess it ended up boosting the attendance total

Bringing fish in for ND games maybe?

There was the '97 game that the Dwags stole, but I am not sure extra security would have prevented that

Does anyone besides me understand ClydeBrick's name?

I do. Met him at a few ST tailgates. When he mentioned his handle, I got a real chuckle out of it because I hadn't thought about it since the late 80s.

No öööö? Really?!?!?
And if you have a Glock in a holster, they will see it when inspecting you with the wand and refuse entry. Are you gonna wear a winter coat?
And yes, I realize there are hidden holsters. However, GT is making a point that it is still illegal to carry a gun into the stadium. It isn't to catch Chick Fil A or Arby's wrappers. The wands are to catch guns, and to a lesser extent knives.
The wands are also a reminder by GT that you cannot carry these items in. They are making a point to folks, before they even reach the gate, that while your weapon is welcome on the campus, it is not to travel beyond the gate. This absolutely would not be happening without the campus carry law.
Just stick it in your ass. That's what I do. Of course I pack a .357 with a 2 and a half inch barrel. Nobody messes with me.
