We should be 5-0.

This team doesn’t know how to play sound football when it really matters. They crap the bed at the worst possible time.

A couple things for some perspective:

In 2014, when we were really good, we had several breaks go our way. Remember how close we were to losing to GS? Or the timeout before a kick that almost didn't get off in time?

The last few years, we've had guys with absolute ice in their veins at qb and k. Those 2 alone kept us alive in a couple games. We were confident about 45 second come backs because of those two. We have guys at those positions now that dont have the experience and the ice. They'll get it as they get experience, but its not quite there now.

What was best for me is that our defense has actually started showing signs of life this year. Despite the absolute lopsided ToP, they were making stops. The gap control had a few issues, but we had some tfls. Fielding a defense has been the Achilles heel of cpj. D sucked against ut, but this was their first real test since and they exceeded my expectations.

Recruiting vs coaching. Nature vs nurture. Determinism vs free will. Coret Haim v Corey Feldman. The great debates will never be settled.

No Blair vs Jo from The Facts of Life?

2 dropped balls make this statement appear to make sense. The fumble from behind by Green and the dropped 3rd down catch by Stewart. Heck throw the 4th down tip in there as well. I contend they know how to play, but they've gotten on the wrong end of some breaks this season. It'll even out over a long season.
