Spring Game to be on a Friday night

FSU is having baseball game at 1. Then next door at Doak is spring game at 6. Followed by fireworks and a 90s themed concert featuring Vanilla Ice, Salt n Peppa and Rob Base. I'm didn't make any of that up. It's really happening.

That 90s themed concert sounds awful.

The LSU football schedule site (which many of us use) always has most of the spring games listed and what TV or streaming options are available to watch, even Kennesaw State. For some reason, the Tech spring game either doesn't get listed or shows up a few days before. Someone at the AD office needs to do a better job of getting the schedule out.

Every Saturday he tries to win the game. Winning brings excitement to the fan base. That’s a lot of examples of him trying to bring excitement to the fan base. You still have zero examples for your absurd ‘fans are a burden’ argument.

EDIT: I guess its worth a caveat and if this is the crux of your argument, so be it. When people ask dipshit questions about uniforms or scheduling or baited questions about the offense/program during news conferences or during the call-in show, he generally gives them the answer they deserve. If that hurts your feelings, ok. I will concede that he hurts your feelings and is a big meanie and you can bigcry about him til your heart's content.

What right does CPJ have to expect people calling into his show to be any different than callers to every other coaches show in America?

Part of CPJ's job is to interact with the people that support his very large salary and to encourage their interest in the program. When you're hired to be the HC of a P5 program, you don't get to just 'keep your head down and call plays' — you are the public face of all aspects of the program. That means you also have to answer questions about uniforms politely and respectfully and with a modicum of interest.

His job it to win games and interact with supporters and alumni. That doesn't mean he has to put up with idiots, and no other coach in the country does it either. I dare you go call in to Saban's show with a dumb question. You either won't get past the screener or they will hang up immediately.

Saban is pretty brusque, and I'm sure even the most sensitive Alabama fan is happy to put up with it given his results. But that has nothing to do with CPJ anyhow; he doesn't have the moral authority that Saban has, cuz he's not won at anything approaching those levels. The bottom line is that no coach should be dismissive of his fans, period. If you don't agree... then I'll just have to accept that you and I have different visions of human virtue. C'est la vie.

Bill Lewis was a rah rah coach interested in bringing excitement for the fan base.
Pepper Rodgers was a rah rah coach interested in bringing excitement for the fan base. My point? I can't think of one. Just saying.

Saban wins titles to not answer dumb questions. He doesn't go without a bowl every other year.

And Alabama football is the best team in college football since he's been there. Every college football team can use the Saban argument as to why they suck. Truth is, it would take a severe lowering of the curriculum at GT and incredible spending increases on all things football to get us to an Alabama level within a decade. There would have to be NCAA violations to help fast track us. Alabama is an unreasonably high expectation of performance for GT. I seriously doubt there is any area of football facilities where we have anything even approaching what Alabama has

We're a Ferrari, not a football team.
