I’m glad the people running Tech don’t make decisions based on what will make message board posters happy.

Also, Tech does not have the public support you seem to believe it does with the majority of Georgia voters.

The reason it gets voted down is precisely because the political will of the voters is in favor of it being voted down. Even if Tech wanted a major with no concern for the athletic impact, if someone could link it to an improvement in Tech’s athletics, it would probably only reduce the public support for it. Because, if you somehow missed it, the vast majority of Georgia voters are UGA supporters.

Actually, if the post I referenced is true, the reason it gets 'voted down' is because it doesn't actually get brought up for a vote.

So please keep bitching & moaning and doing nothing differently than before. I'm sure something will change all by itself.

Bringing it for a vote that it would definitely lose would not lead to any improvement and would only make Tech a bad actor, leading it to not getting other votes that work in Tech’s favor that Tech does get right now. Anyways, I’m not interested in continuing with this argument so I will let you have the last word and will decline to respond.

All of those things factor into it, but your list has been the case for decades. Other coaches have recruited better under the same restrictions.

Not same restrictions, especially for CBR and GOL. Carole bitch Moore, APR, and Tech's increased standards for incoming Freshmen have changed everything. NOBODY is attempting to do what we are in major college football, including Stanford and ND.
