Venables or Bust

Bust it is. GT doesn't have the money. He has family in the Clemson football pipeline now. And in case you're on the good drugs ... no GT can't get Saban or Meyer either.

Come take an extra half a million a year to coach at GT or an extra million or two to coach at a school in a much better situation.

Bust it is. Might as well try though.
 
I guarantee you float a name like Venables around to the right folks and the money finds a way to appear

Have no idea who should be our new coach, except it must not be a “Tech Man.”

But we can not afford to keep cpj.

The damage on every level will be too great.

Will cost a LOT more to keep him than get him outta here.

And we have to get dirty Sewak away from our S/As.
 
We need to put that new ACC money to work and go for Venables, Kiffin or similar. Otherwise we need to drop to Sunbelt because we are getting left behind.
 
I don’t think Venables would come to GT. We are just too far down. I think it will have to be a FCS coach looking to make a name for themselve.
