What is the point of being UGA's b*tch 90% of the time?

Tech vs. UGA by decade:

60s: 4-6
70s: 3-7
80s: 3-7
90s: 3-7
00s: 2-8
10s: 2-7
Well then quit if it suits you. We are here to challenge the power. We are here to spit in their eye we will always be the ‘lesser’ on the gridiron but we will always hold a higher standard. We carry the banner for true student athletes against the machine. So ööööing rage if you have it in you to always be the underdog. To always be the righteous team against villainy to always be the white and pure gold. And if you can’t handle the role bow the öööö out. Those of us who are hearty in our beliefs will carry on without your whining.

You left out :
GT/Auburn
GT/Tennessee
GT/Alabama

It’s pretty easy to trace back to the decision that ööööed us for all time.
I've thought about this for some time now. If there were some way for us to leave the ACC and get back into the SEC, would that solve a lot of the issues that we have to deal with. Certainly attendance would improve with home games against Florida, UT, UGA, USC as opposed to UVA, VT, Miami, and Duke.

And why do you think TAMU left the conference? They were looking for years to separate themselves from UT due to pure hate. TAMU hates UT more than we hate uga.

Because UT was trying to set up their own TV network. Lived in Austin at the time. Where'd you get your insight into the situation?

Well if you want rivalries, then why not a real SEC (FL/GA/SC/AL/MS) conference? UF,FSU,Miami, UCF, USF, GT, UGA, GSU,Clemson, USCe,Auburn,Bama,Miss,MSU?

Then a Mid-Atlantic conference: UNC, NCSt, Wake, Duke, ECU, TN, MTSU, UVA, VT, MD, WV, UK, Louisville, Memphis

Mid-South: TX, TTU, TAMU, TXSt, Houston, TCU, OU, OSU, AR, LSU, ARSt, UTEP, UTSA

Preach it young man. Preach it. I got your back.

Explain how losing 80% of the time on a national stage increases your presence.
Losing doesn’t at all. The only thing that does is winning. But you accomplish nothing by running from the game. Our best seasons have all come from beating them. In fact the only good tech team in the last 30 years that didn’t was 2009.

Man, if you can't understand that adding 3-4 wins every decade by playing someone else wouldn't help the Institute then I can't help you.

2006 team was stacked but Gailey.

Eventually, it's going to go to four super-conferences. IMO, The Big 12 and the AAC will get plundered and die out. If it does go to a four super conference field, that will be 64 spots. 16 team playoff with four teams from each conference.

I’ve thought about it before but isn’t the point to build a program that can compete for national and conference championship? Do you think by not playing georgia and adding a win every year that we would become a better program?

Agree, but the Tech fan in me says we get ööööed and end up in East Coast rather than Southeast. Just because.
