Those seem to be the two favorites. I guess Godsey wants the job but not sure he will even be considered. Seems like Collins and Satterwhite will both interview and one will be the coach in 2-3 weeks.

Source?

ESPN seems to think Whisenhunt is the early favorite

If we’re just making this up then I say Nick Saban is our current front runner
I'm just saying, if only I had pics of him or something, cause that would be the best thing ever ever ever. Even if he never coached a down for us – just the Dawg reaction would be priceless.

Or maybe Bill Belichick.

Fascinating.

I will be shocked if Im not happy with who we get based on the names available.

Of course I would be fine with Monken or Wisenhunt and that App state coach is spectacular on paper. Can he bring the whole staff? They already got the GT patented "get the team ranked then get upset the next week" down.

If we end up with one of these guys, that's not the worst thing in the world. That said, if either of these guys is sought out as our primary target, everyone associated with the search process needs to go.

Are you ööööing kidding me? Satterfield is going to make some AD look like a genius. Dude is a winner.

Collins doesnt have the track record for me to be as confident.

I'm not kidding you. Virtually his entire coaching career has been at App State. He's helped them maintain a similar level of success that they experienced before him, so kudos on that, but when you're arguably the most attractive vacancy in college football like we currently are, the #1 guy on your list shouldn't be someone with no coaching experience at a level higher than the Sun Belt.

That's not an indictment on his prospects as a coach.

Says the guy treating a Sun Belt coach as if he's Bill Belichick.

Tell me what openings are more attractive than ours right now. Texas Tech? Colorado?
Yes. Yes. Did Louisville already hire?

All three have a bigger budget than us and an easier road.

Bill Belicheck cant hold Satterfield's jock.
