Comes across very well. I don't follow recruiting that closely, but will be interesting to see if he can get some top players on board between now February (too much of an ask?)
I would think that's a lot to ask.

I think his success will be highly predicated on his OC hire. If you watch Temple highlights from this year, the defense is 100% legit. The offense is a little shaky sometimes.
Once again he's the Bizarro CPJ. Opposite in every way.

I’m optimistic about this hire but some of you are over the top. It’s crazy to be all in at this point.
It's crazy not to be all in at this point. What exactly are you saving it for? There ain't no time-value to all-in-ness, you know. This is the best time there is to enjoy boundless optimism about GT football. Everything anybody complained about CPJ has been reversed by this guy. And he ain't lost even a single game yet.

This is the least lawyerly response I could have expected

He sounds like Josh Pastner - high energy / neurotic. Let's hope he can recruit - unlike Pastner.

Oh, he can recruit.

Worry about other things, like how long it will take Atlanta sports radio to notice what we will be building. Of course, that will require them to pop out of Kirby Smart's basement long enough to clear the brown out of their eyes and look.

Press conference reminded me a lot of Butch Jones’ at Tennessee in 2013. Instead of saying champions of life, he said “attack” and “juice” about 80 times.

Basically every cliche in the book. I get that it’s (really) early on, but I didn’t hear a single concrete plan in the presser, just lots of slick talk.

Guy inherited a team that won 10 games in 2014 and 2015, only won 15 games in 2 years, and lost to an FCS school. Y’all can go nuts with the optimism. I’m not buying it until we win some games.

What is the point of that? What is the point of any of this? I'm gonna have fun while the sun shines.

Much more enjoyable to expect nothing and be pleasantly surprised by a good team than the opposite.

Surely you know that if you’re a Tech fan.

He is really likable, strokes the egos of the reporters “I remember you” and calling Jeff Schultz his hero. Lear’s see what happens when radio guys like our coach or find reasons to not like him.

He had the job for a few hours, had been flying between Philadelphia, Atlanta and NYC for a week, had been up since 3 am, had a flight delay coming into Atlanta... and you're upset he didn't lay out a concrete plan at an introductory press conference?

FFS.
