Julius Peppers was a tailback in high school, at 6-7, 240.
For s's and giggles, looked up James Conner and Aaron Donald's high school recruiting rankings.
Conner was a defensive end in HS.

The Johnsonians are desperate to protect the 2/3-star legacy of IIWII football. If and when CGC gets 4-stars on campus, it only proves that, for reasons that had little to do with academics, CPJ wasn't a great recruiter.

Unless Look the other way Bud and TStan have promised him more exceptions.

I got to know some NC State folks in my time living and working in NC. Nice folks. A little of the little brother syndrome when it comes to UNC (guess that's why I related to them) but good people.
UNC people can DIAF. Though their nickname for Duke is good.

we've had 3 total since 2013. All that proves is that even a broken clock is right twice/day.

CGC will have more 4-stars in his first 2 years than CPJ had during his 11 years.

Our early attempts at recruiting went through several preparations. Preparations A through G were a complete failure. But now, ladies and gentlemen, we finally have a twitter presence, which we shall call... Preparation H.

We had 7 in the 2017/2018 classes alone. Recruiting was definitely on the rise, and it looks like CGC is only going to continue that. Let's hope he can close on a few more of these guys he's gotten in on late!

Everything is supposed to be in one thread now so it gets confusing.

Griffin, from Rome, is likely to flip today or this week but is currently committed to NC State. He is the Gatorade GA high school player of the year. On paper this would be the best running back since Dwyer even though Dedrick Mills was a stud but hopefully equal to those two guys.

Well, looking at his film, we need him. We have some good tailbacks on the team, but he is too good not to go after. Plus, family and friends will get to see him play in person here.

It will be interesting if we go after some Mike Cox type full backs
