He's a high energy dude for surethe same folks internally we have used?
I have to assume all of this is running through him. If he is as good of a football coach as he is a marketer, we will be just fine. He wants to own the city of Atlanta.
I know you're hated here but you do make me laugh often. You bring the juice for sure. I ran out of juice a long time ago.I'm guessing that ATL is good enuff and below the line means you're RS'ing or leaving
It's all about the ATL baybee
Above The Line
Coach G is setting a standard of excellence
Bout damn time
How will that even work? If we have 2 "ATL" quarterbacks do they just flip a coin to see which one plays since there is no depth chart?I have no idea what Mike Flynn means here but more branding and marketing I assume. Did not want to start a new thread but based on Flynn's tweet we will not have a traditional depth chart. Guess this is a form of roster management.
Do you know nothing of marketing? How will that even work? If we have 2 "ATL" quarterbacks do they just flip a coin to see which one plays since there is no depth chart?
I truly have no idea what any of this means but Flynn says, "#innovationisinourdna" so I assume college coaches will no longer use depth charts in a few years. How will that even work? If we have 2 "ATL" quarterbacks do they just flip a coin to see which one plays since there is no depth chart?
I did not know this. I like it. Yeah if a starter plays 70% of the snaps and a non-starter plays 55%, who really cares. You're either #ATL or you are not. There is a lot more than marketing there. That's actually very bright. He did this at Temple so it isn’t new. He is emphasizing the initials bc of the Atlanta tie in. There was an article about it in a Temple papers.
The basic point of ATL is that he believes in depth so it motivates everyone that will play to give their best where some people are only motivated to start or not. He wants to de-emphasize that thinking. It makes a lot of sense to me.

Thanks for the article. Based on that it sounds like it's not just a marketing ploy -- we literally won't announce starters before the game. Wonder how long before ACC coaches complain about that.
Thanks for adding the context. Makes sense. I like it as a concept. Its a bonus that it works for marketing in Atlanta too.

GT marketing department has been busy creating the GOOD LUCK uga GraphicsThat has to be all Coach G
If it was the GTAA Mktg folks then they could have done the same things with TPR in place
Instead, all we got was "GT FB the perfect option"
Whoop dee doo, yeah that really made Atlantans want to support GT FB
