Graham WTF [DUT]

zero percent surprising if he transfers. He only flipped from VPI to GT because VPI wanted him as a defensive player and he wanted to be a QB. I hope he stays and competes but one of my first thoughts when we left the TO was that Graham is out.

Don't take this the wrong way, but if he's academically ineligible after one semester then I think it's reasonable for him to take some time to evaluate whether Tech is the best long term fit. Add in the coaching change and it's really not surprising. We'll see how it works out.

Oh great this Reeves Guyton guy again

I followed him on twitter for a bit during the coaching search. He seems like a crazy person.

But I would not be surprised if he is correct on this. The tea leaves aren't too hard to read here.

I hope Graham sticks it out and gets on track. We could use him whether he qbs or not.

Graham is a good athlete and I think could play many places. It would likely be a good move trying to keep him depending on his personality.

This guy is the Alex Jones of GT sports. He’s doing all of us a disservice by publishing content.

Whatevs is right. Once this talk starts, it never seems to work in GTs favor. Yeah - academic problems, coaching change- who knows what his take on it all is.
Odds are he is gonna be gone.
It’s just the way it goes for GT.

Graham is fast as hell. We need to find a way to keep him on the team. And by “we” I mean CGC.

Looks like he's got one foot out the door. Hopefully GT can keep him as he's one of the best athletes on the team.

I kinda expected this to happen. Jordan Yates will probably be the quarterback next season. Graham would have made a great option quarterback but he's probably not as great of a passer which is why other teams didn't offer him as qb.

He needs to worry about passing school first. He needs to evaluate if GT is the right place for his education. If he just had a bad semester and can turn it around, then he should probably stay. If he is lost, and tutoring can't get him through, he doesn't need to stay until it is too late to turn things around.
He's a great athlete, from all indications, but he will certainly have to move from the QB position if he goes anywhere else. Remember Pat Carter transferred believing he was a QB when we were going to move him to WR. Ended up finally at Louisville playing WR. Wasted eligibility trying to be a QB when coaches recognized he needed to change positions.
Hopefully Graham stays. He could be a real game breaker if he is as athletic as folks say.

So no one took this as someone asking him if he’s playing another position?
Its possible I suppose, but doesn't really read that way.

I could see him thinking GT was too tough academically after this past semester, and he's going to have to play catch up there as well as playing catch up to the rest of the qbs or whatever position he ends up at who will all get a head start on him with spring practice to learn the new offense.

Does academic probation follow you to the new school if he transfers, so that he would still be held out of spring practice?

James at WR and Jordan at QB would be lethal. I hope CGC can convince him to stay.

Where are all the "don't talk to me about Calculus" people? With all the tutors and stuff GT isn't supposed to any more difficult than taking a dump, right??? GT academics shouldn't have any impact on 4* and 5* recruits is what I've been told the past month.
:furious::firedevil:

Getting through GT is easier than it has ever been. Getting through GT is still more difficult than almost any other school in the country for student-athletes.
