I only know a few former NFL players and only a couple folks with sports franchise front office experience, so I'm no expert, but I do believe standard practice would dictate that you don't draft players unless you believe they can make the team. He's tried, he didn't. This fact confirms that 32 organizations evaluated his potential accurately and chose to pursue higher value targets. Some of those didn't pan out either, which is neither profound or interesting.You mean the fact he didn't end up making the team confirms he shouldn't have been drafted?
