never bet on your own team. You're too close to it. it's a pretty hard schedule.

That's some high juice on the under.

0//U 4

Over +124

Under -146

Yikes.
We will have 4 wins by mid October.
the "over" is rewarded because Vegas probably senses that the general betting public knows very little about Georgia Tech other than we have performed poorly of late, we have a new coach and we have a tough schedule peppered with teams that we have not beaten regularly in the last several years. Unfortunately, the track record of the professional books is extremely accurate.

What does that mean? All they want to do is get the money equal.

You have to run probabilities for all the teams to assess the probability for any one team. And for Vegas, an unknown is never assigned a likely probability. So take Tech and the over and clean up because we know more about the unknown than Vegas does.

USF, Temple, Citadel, Duke, Virginia is not exactly murderers row, but last year we lost to 2 of those and a 3rd took us to OT.

UNC, PITT, NCST contains teams that can lose any given game but will be favored anyway.

Clem, UGAg, MIA is probably not in the cards this year without a tricky playbook, not that the first two were anyway.

Whoever we play in the ACCCG and playoffs will be really tough too.

It's obviously going to be an amazing 15 win season, but I can see why Vegas has fooled itself into being so down.

They must have figured out it's an odd year.

2017 - 5 wins
2015 - 3 wins

Seems about right. Could also be the O/U on points we score against Clemson.

What makes you think we'll have a good offense or good defense without recruiting our way to it? Collins wants to run an offense customized to our players. So this year will just be some ad hoc öööö, he has no idea. I think in a few years we'll recruit our way to success but this year is gonna suck

If we utilize the current talent that was recruited for the TO it would seem to be a natural transition to more of a spread option from the shotgun. That’s something many on the board have called for for years. If we have some pass options from the spread, including a (dare it be said) tight end, I don’t see why we can’t score some points. To me, defensive improvement is the key.
