Does GT have a "puncher's chance" this weekend?

I’ll be there and my winning percentage for away games is 75%.

So that’s something.
I remember in 2014, after we lost to UNC, a poster associated with the team claimed that we would win out the rest of the regular season.

Then in 2015, after we beat FSU, the same poster made the same claim.

Now, in 2019, I will make the claim that we'll do something in between those two outcomes.

GT has no chance unless they make significant changes on the offensive side of the ball. If they stick to the same plan we’ve seen so far we’ll see the same result, few points. They need to do what they are capable of doing right now. Run the ball!
LOL, some of you guys act like you are so smart. You do realize we've been operating on a 71% run ratio, right?
Clemson
45 rushes
18 pass attempts

USF
49 rushes
21 pass attempts

Citadel
33 rushes
13 pass attempts

Total
52 pass attempts
127 rushes
----------------------
179 total plays
We run it 70.949% of the time.
Any other great insights you want to share?

Then they need to run 90% of the time from what I’ve seen of the passing game so far.

How many of those runs were with Oliver behind center and how many were Lucas trying to run for his life scrambling out of the pocket?

Ask ESPN. That's where I pulled the stats from.
I was just pointing out the lunacy of the 'we need to run the ball' argument. We are running the ball the vast majority of the time.

I think you are missing the point. People are not saying “run the ball more.” People are saying “start Oliver.”

Not the person to whom I was responding. He was very clearly saying to 'run the ball more' and he even followed up my post by saying that we need to run it even more then if 70% wasn't enough.

I will add that I'm reasonably sure I could go back to the end of the Clemson game and find most of the same people saying that we needed to start Lucas instead of Tobias after we tried running it all the time against Clemson with such poor results. Personally, I don't care. The coaches see the players more in practice than we do....if they think XXX gives them a better chance than YYY, go with it IMO.

I'll take the same results as USF.

Outside of Saturday's booze cruise (which should remain my focus) and some baseball crap, there is obviously a very large sport event in the cesspool of the north this weekend.
I would very much like to not be inundated with articles and blogs and radio segment after radio segment degrading Tech football on Monday. Looking at the game logically, is there a way GT escapes with a W or even beats their ass?
Our only hope is the gold facemasks. If we don't have them, we have no chance.
