Meh... has he made much of a contribution? I’d only be interested in clear impact guys. Otherwise, let’s just develop who we have.

first rule of message board speculation, any sport - other team's guys always have inflated value

Is it out of bounds to discuss other programs’ transfer portals? Because VPISUs is off the hook. They’ve had 32 players enter the transfer portal over the last 2 years. 18 (2 ended up staying) in 2019 and 14 in 2020. 11 receivers. In an offense that should make receivers happy.

This is in years 4 and 5 of Fuente’s reign. That’s bonkers. And he only has 14 commits/signees in the 2020 class - only one of which is rated higher than our average commit (.872 on 247 composite).

Assuming all those guys were on scholarship they’ve had over a 3rd of their roster enter the portal in the last 2 years. What the hell is going on over there.

They’re on a sinking ship and desperately trying to get off. VT will be in the cellar if they don’t get this figured out quickly.

The math around quality incoming and outgoing players simply does not work out a few years from now.

Yeah. Last year they were actually projected to be pretty good and won 8 games so were at least within reasonable range of projections. Mostly that's based on returning starters. That's great, but with such an exodus and lack of influx to replace, things are going to start nosediving hard.

Christian Campbell's brother. IIRC, their mom wanted to get Donavaughn to GT also.
Amazieng how the Offensive Line continues to get better. He would add size, competition and depth. The development time for the freshman will pay off down the line.

YES. Would be awesome for all the reasons stated. Process the roster coach.

According to 247 he did an official visit to GT back in 2016.

"Majoring in interdisciplinary studies" does GT offer a Graduate level degree in that??

There's the rub. This isn't only about football... he still has to get into a Grad program here, which won't be easy coming from a General Studies degree at LSU.

I wonder how the NCAA rules handle a case where a guy graduates from one school, then enters an undergraduate program at another school rather than a graduate program? He might could enter as a rising sophomore academically if he has enough classes that will transfer.

From the NCAA website:

These postgraduate students may continue to compete in NCAA sports if they enroll in graduate coursework or a second degree program.

It seems Campbell could enter as an undergraduate.
