Watching baseball video and Pace brings back memories....we were in the same region with Pace for baseball and could never quite get past them annually. My last year we had a three run lead in the last inning and they hit a grand slam homerun with two outs. Ouch!

Yeah, I don't think losing out on a kid from Ohio is much of an indictment on the staff's recruiting ability, regardless of where his dad went to school.

This. NSD22 is on the other side of armageddon, as far as we all know. Probably best from here on out to assume the next season will be the last we spend alive, and spend all our impotent dread and anxiety on the current class. But I don't see any reason to fret over this one beyond "might have been good here."
