Seriously? All the irrepressibly negative and whiny jackasses wandering around here, looking for any possible way to dampen excitement, and you're annoyed by the guy who sees some of them as CPJ fanboys. Sounds like you've got daddy issues of your own. At least if Techbert has them, it's not over how some StingTalk poster prefers calling out dipöööös and trolls - which is exactly what your little fannyfriend is. Maybe next time you want to throw a tantrum over whatever actually gets you all hot and bothered over Techbert, don't do it as a tag team with one of the most indefensible morons on the board.

I'm going to completely disregard the PFF score for Ayinde Eley because it doesn't conform to the narrative of the current coaching staff, but I'm going to play up the PFF score of Keion White, because it completely conforms to the narrative of the current coaching staff.
 
We've got one half of our fan base that can't say anything nice about their team or players, another half who get upset when anyone says anything bad regardless of its veracity, and another half who consider themselves the sole reasonable Tech fan. If you think those numbers add up to 150% you aren't taking into account the difference in denominators between those who consider themselves fans and those that actually show up to be fans.

How did I öööö on a good player? I’m actually saying that the three year starter that this entire board went out of their way to öööö on for 2 years was more productive, and graded out better than the incoming transfer that this board already wants to crown as an improvement over the previous guy

PFF is garbage either way. Who do you think they have evaluating tens of thousands of linebacker plays?

You're not cute or clever. People are excited about a talented guy coming in and the prospect of improvement in an area where we need it. You, on the other hand, don't give a öööö about any of that. You are desperate, for whatever reason, to pick some stupid fight over an obvious positive for the program. And that isn't surprising, it's just stale.

I'm not doing that.

I think PFF has limited usefulness, but White's high PFF score is useful information that causes you to not rely too heavily on a poor HS recruiting score, which has even less usefulness than the PFF. It shows some demonstrated traits he did not show evaluators in HS.

Eley has mixed indicators. What we do know is the coaches have evaluated him and probably have a role in mind for him. While we do not know that role, you have to think it has some connection to Curry's role, and may be one part field work and one part locker room presence. Ace may have some learning curve. I don't know.

Competition is king. It will sort itself out fairly. Do you agree?

It is what it is. They all come highly recommended. It’s not as good or as bad as it seems. We’ll have to look at the tape.
