The post game presser was unbelievable to watch. Collins couldn't even look up at the press and he kept spouting the same old BS. "Much improved"? This guy has ZERO credibility and ZERO substance. Obvious he is a lightweight and doesn't know what the fcuk he is doing. And Stansbury isn't far behind him either.

What will happen when players stop believing him?

This will not end well. This really sucks...
 
I remember a presser against pitt last year where he said he was going to celebrate with the team and the band. We celebrate losses now??

Geoff is the face of “woke.” Everyone should be coddled. Less than your best should be accepted as a high standard.

I’m rooting for him cause, like it or not, that’s our country. And if it can’t be successful on a football team, it damn sure won’t make it as public policy.
 
I’ll continue to support him while he brings in the best recruiting classes ever in our history.. if that aspect ever begins to suffer, god help us

Same here. I bought in to his BS hook, line and sinker and I’m ashamed of myself for doing so. I think I was blinded by the promise of multiple star recruits or the oh-so-positive personality. Hell, it could have been Lewis Caralla’s motivational videos and the before and after of our underweight triple option players to our hulking whatever-offense-we-run-now players. Whatever the reason I’m just embarrassed I fell for it.

This is like buying a Mustang GT and using it only to drive down the road for groceries.

First, I don’t want to recruit Mustang GTs. We need Porsches and better. Second, good recruiting is worthless if they aren’t winning games.

With all due respect, leaving a full cupboard for the next guy is anything but worthless. Let's hope he can continue to reel in the big name recruits.

The Citadel game confirmed that Collins has no business as a head coach and I have not seen anything since that has led me to reconsider. I love Collin's love for GT and I love his enthusiasm for our program and our
guys but he's little more than Derrick Moore.

I don’t think the old wisdom of a full cupboard works in today’s world of the transfer portal.
 
I remember when CGC took the job and went on his culture war. The Tech fans who were apprehensive of his used car salesman schtick were called FAGs. I can't remember who came up with this term, but whoever it was can go öööö themselves now.

Also, we've improved recruiting from where we were but it's not like we are bringing in 5 stars. We are middle of the pack ACC in recruiting.

I’m not disagreeing with anything here but please STFU with the politics on this board, most of us want nothing to do with it in the FB threads

I’ll give him some of the rebuild argument because of the differences in what was recruited for an option offense vs what is desired in most other offenses in terms of body type, position distribution, and other stuff. All I’m saying is that now with the transfer portal, the top recruits would likely mass exodus simply due to uncertainty. In the old days, we those guys were mostly stuck to see who the new guy was.
