I'd say the average Tech fan who is seriously concerned about COVID has gotten vaccinated already. I don't think very many football fans who are vaccinated are staying home out of fear of COVID, and the number of football fans who aren't willing to get vaccinated but will stay home from games because they are scared of COVID is even smaller.

I won't say that COVID is having zero effect, but I'd say it's way down on the list.
People concerned about covid may actually not be too concerned with getting sick. They may be concerned that their kids will miss two weeks of school if anyone in the house comes down with it. That is my nightmare scenario.

Only that COVID has less to do with declining attendance than changing demographics, consecutive 3 win seasons, and a declining interest in football in general and college football in particular. It is also personal frustration with going to a game with a big name opponent and watching them practically take over our house.
Yeah, bad reasoning here.

Always has IMO. We have a serious disadvantage putting gold seaters behind the opposing teams bench also. I get that money is everything in this game but so is winning. Students behind them would have potentially helped us win at least 1 or 2 games over the last 20 years if they got loud enough. Surely this is just a wrong opinion I have though.
I call bull ship. Loud Chinese does not distract the opposing team.

I was in the Upper East for NIU. I didn't return this week. I run my own business and have a full time job and including round trip and the game a GT home game is a 9 hour time investment for me. Time is my most precious asset. I'm not going to invest it in GT football if the outcome of that investment is more job security for my cardiologist. I can get a better experience on my couch and claw back 2/3 of the time investment. I'll make the time investment to see it in person again when I'm 100% confident that 73-7 and having a winless team out of the MAC running circles around the coaching staff are things of the past. I thought this would be that year. I was spectacularly wrong.
Then stay away. We don’t need you when we’re rebuilding and we won’t need you when we’re rebuilt.

Just stay the öööö away and watch it on tv.

I have a pic to prove he was there.
I told you I'd send you the bit coin payment. I just need time. Wait, sorry. I thought we were discussing something entirely different

That is my girlfriend/future ex wife. She has been hanging around for 6 years now, apparently waiting for someone taller, nicer, richer, better looking to come along.

The idiot thinks a couple of three win seasons is worse than two consecutive one win seasons.
Well when we have these “top 25” recruiting classes, more often than not, you should be in the “top 25” of football. Or at least the top 50. Maybe it’s just me.

We have literally had two recruiting classes under Collins that are wholly his. His first class was mainly honoring CPJ's. The second was good. The third better.
I seem to remember you are the one who claimed to know football better than all of us since you played at Carson Newman and liked 3-O football. Correct?
